Block Safari
Native Apple Apps sometimes do not sync with Brick. The 'Blocking Chosen Apps' option in Brick will allow you to brick Safari and specific websites like any other app. The below guide will be helpful if you use 'Allowing Chosen Apps' option and are looking to brick Safari.
1. Open the Shortcuts App
2. Create a new Personal Automation
3. Select "App"
4. Set to "Is Opened" and "Run Immediately", then press "Choose"
5. Choose the Safari App
6. Press "New Blank Automation"
7. Press "Add Action", then search "Brick" and click the "Is Brick mode enabled" Action
8. You screen should now look like this. Next, click "If"
9. Add another action by pressing the bottom search bar. If you're seeing "Brick" instead of the search bar, click the (x) to exit the prompt and the search bar will appear (2nd screenshot)
10. Select "Scripting"
11. Select "Open App"
12. Choose the Brick app
13. Move "Open Brick" action from the bottom of the screen to right below the "If" action
14. Block shortcuts on Brick. Now anytime you try to open Safari you will be redirected to the Brick app. If you're having trouble, please reach out to hello@getbrick.app and we'd be happy to help.
