Apps Not Blocking

These steps can help if all or some of your apps are not being Bricked correctly, or if apps are not showing up in the app selection screen

 

1.  Confirm Screen Time is turned on in your Settings

If it isn't, try deleting Brick, turning on Screen Time in your settings, and re-downloading Brick.

 

2. Confirm Screen Time limits are not set on any apps

App limits interfere with Brick's ability to block apps. For the best Brick experience, turn off any active app limits. Note it may take a few hours after turning limits off for Brick to be able to start blocking apps.

 

 

3. Make sure the apps you're trying to block aren't in Always Allowed

Apps in the Always Allowed list of Screen Time settings won't be blocked by Brick.

 

 

4. Make sure you have a passcode set up on your phone

iPhone settings require a phone password to allow Brick access to Screen Time.

 

5. Check that Brick has Screen Time access

Brick requires Screen Time access to block apps. If you don't see the below section, try deleting Brick and re-downloading.
