Brick Set Up

We’re so excited for you to start using Brick!

 

Here’s a step-by-step set up guide. We're also happy to help at hello@getbrick.app.

 

1. Read through Onboarding Materials

 

Press 'Continue' on bottom of first two pages after reading.

 

 

2. Enter Email to create Brick account

 

Type in Email for your Brick account where you'll get a one-time code to confirm. No password required!

 

 

3. Enter 6-digit verification code

 

Note code may be in 'Spam' folder.

 

 

4. Activate your Brick

 

Tap the center 'Activate' button and tap the top of your phone to your Brick device.

 

 

5. Press 'Start Using' on bottom of screen after activating

 

 

6. Allow Screen Time settings access - press Continue

 

Allowing Screen Time access gives Brick ability to block and unblock apps. If you accidentally press 'Don't Allow', press the center Brick icon for a second prompt. 

 

 

7. Create a mode

 

Select which apps you'd like to block or allow by creating a mode. Select the 'Mode' button under the center Brick icon. Press the + Button in the top right of the pop up to create the mode. 

 

 

 

8. Add Mode

 

Follow the prompts to add your first mode - add a name, choose whether you'd like to block or allow apps, and select your apps. Note there is a 50 app limit. If you are reaching the limit, try switching your 'Mode Type' between Blocking and Allowing. Press 'Done' when complete.

 

 

9. Start your Brick journey

 

Enter Brick mode by tapping the center Brick icon and pressing the phone to the Brick or holding the center Brick icon for 5 seconds.
